Chapeau Rouge is a good party bar located just off the Old Town Square, popular with both local Czechs and the International crowd.

If you're looking for a spot generally hidden from tourists and frequented by locals, U Sudu has the right atmosphere (for now at least). Past the small entrance you'll wander into a maze of rooms that makes up the wine cellar-turned bar. Sip a merlot or chianti while chilling out in the barely-lit cellar, or play some foosball at one of their many tables. Also, if you're a fan of the green (and we don't mean oregano), U Sudu is one of the most liberal places in that respect (wink wink nudge nudge).

SaSaZu, designed to wow the hip international crowd of clubbers joined the Prague club scene in 2009. SaSaZu will definitely blow away jet set partygoers with the club’s 5,000 m2 of space (enough space for about 2,000 people!), the sleek modern interior, and the world-famous clientele and DJs this new club brings in. Located in the up-and-coming quarter of Holesovice in Prague 7, already home to a select few industrial factories turned dance clubs, SaSaZu is right at home. Dance into the wee hours of the morning with the young and the beautiful at SaSaZu, already a household name in Europe. Thanks to SaSaZu Prague may soon be famous as a late night clubbers paradise instead of a smoky pub hoping heaven.

Nebe is one of the few alternative spots in Prague where you can catch some live music or just chill out to some house and groove, or rock out to some punk classics on the large dance floor. Club Nebe is also home to the famous Prague Heartbeats indie DJ night on Fridays, so if you like indie, Britpop, etc, this is the only place where you can shake your butt to Interpol and impress the ladies with your skinny black tie!

Multifunctional and Multicultural
Palac Akropolis is a multifunctional building located at the crossing line between Zizkov and Vinohrady district. In its depths, it harbours a theater, an infocentre, a radio headquarters, a restaurant and – of course – a club.
The building itself has quite a history – it was built in the early times of independent Czech Republic in the first quarter of the 20th century, and it served primarily as a biograph. After a decade it was turned into a theatre. Owners changed as leaves on trees, but it always served cultural purposes, which, luckily, has survived to our times

One of the most beloved and celebrated night music clubs in Prague, Radost FX is the home of the best in House, R&B/soul and Hip Hop music. Extravagant parties, eccentric decor and beautiful people make this one of the most popular hot spots in the city.Whatever your party apetite may be there is a night for you. Plastique is a hipster paradise with raunchy electric tunes and trendy fashion.

From electronic music you can meet with drum’n’bass, jungle, breakbeat, dub, dubstep, bassline, tekno, techno, house, electro, psytrance, glitch, brecore and many other music genres.
Besides music parties and concerts you can find here debates, lectures, travelers’ confabs, exhibitions, theatre and movie screenings. The entrance is often free or at a reasonable price.

Karlovy Lazne is the largest music club complex in Central Europe, and one of the coolest places in Prague to hang out.
One entrance fee gets you a ticket to 5 clubs on 5 levels. Each floor at Karlovy Lazne has its own style, from disco to hardcore trance; enough variation to keep even the most ardent clubber entertained all night.
Starting at the ground floor going up you get: Music Café, Discothèque (70s disco revival), Kaleidoscope (hits of the 60s-80s), Paradogs Club (the best in house, trance and techno), and Chill Out (mellow tunes on the top floor in a café style, with floor cushions, rugs and soft lighting - do the other 4 levels properly, and you are bound to end up here!).
The interior of Karlovy Lazne dates from the 14th/15th centuries. Original mosaic tiles adorn the walls and floors in some areas, while preserved Roman style spa pools (minus the water) serve as two of the pumping dance floors.

STUDIO 54
If it is awfully late but you just can not bring yourself to go home, head for Studio 54 in Prague.
This indie club extraordinaire houses night owls and night workers just getting off duty. If you manage to remember the time you spent here, you will never forget it.
When visiting Studio 54 Prague, do not forget to visit actions as a "Perfect Balance", "Freaks Nights", "Funky Monkey", "Studio Starnight"

Roxy is a popular dance club on Dlouha street, close to the Old Town Square.
Roxy is one of Prague’s oldest and best-known clubs, and over the years has attracted big name DJ's such as Grooverider and Luke Slater to take their turn on the decks, as well as bands like Faithless and the Sneaker Pimps.
The music at Roxy spans all genres of dance, but tends to be more hardcore than at many of the clubs in Prague. Drum ‘n’ Bass, Jungle and Techno often feature here.
The slightly dilapidated interior and big open spaces gives Roxy more of a warehouse feel than a modern club, the rawness of it fitting the music style.
